Interested visitors are welcome to attend three meetings before considering membership.

Queens Organization

The House of Pacific Relation sponsors a cultural and educational service organization for young members of the Houses. The HPR Queens Organization fosters a spirit of understanding, tolerance and goodwill between all races and nationalities, and prepares its members to be adult members of their Houses. The Queens act as "goodwill ambassadors" of HPR and present the music and dance of various ethnic groups at events throughout San Diego County. Girls must be between the ages of 10 and 21 to participate.

The positions of Queen and Princess for the house of Lithuania are currently open. Please contact us if you are interested having your daughter participate in this program. For more information please visit the Queens Organization Website.

Club History

The House of Lithuania is a cultural organization consisting of San Diego Lithuanians. We seek to preserve and promote Lithuanian culture and traditions in the San Diego area. Our group has existed for over fifty years and has been a part of the House of Pacific Relations for over twenty-five years. As a member group of the House of Pacific Relations, we share in the wider goal of educating the public about our country to encourage tolerance and appreciation of cultural diversity. As the world becomes more interconnected, it becomes even more important to have an international outlook if we are to preserve peace. We are one of the 27 national groups making up San Diego's House of Pacific Relations. While 20 of these groups are represented in the cluster of International Cottages in Balboa Park, the House of Lithuania doesn't yet have a cottage.
